This machine comes with a 2" bar, chain and sprocket. Also, the picture on the previous page shows the hand-held version. However, we strongly recommend the use of the optional support/stand (shown below) When using a 2" chain set.

To use this support/stand you first have to remove the existing guide plate from the machine before installing the mortiser. We highly recommend the use of this support/stand with a 1 1/2" chain set and strongly recommend the support/stand with 2" chain set and/or when working in hardwoods.
